UAE- Japan imported 21.8 million barrels of oil in February: JANRE

TOKYO 1st April 2016 (WAM) - Japan's crude oil imports from the UAE in February 2016 stood at 21.8 million barrels accounting for 26.8 percent of the Japan's total crude imports for the month said the Japanese Agency for Natural Resources and Energy (JANRE).

JANRE said 32 percent of Japan's oil imports in February came Saudi Arabia 11.6 percent from Qatar 8.1 percent from Kuwait and 6.9 percent from Iran.

In February Japan imported 100.4 million barrels of crude oil of which around 75 percent came from Arab countries.
