(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) presented in Conservation and Energy Efficiency Department received a delegation from "Nama International Institute" - Sultanate of Oman on Wednesday in KAHRAMAA Awareness Park get acquainted of KAHRAMAA experience in the field of electricity and water conservation.
This visit was meant to exchange experience in the field of environment and resources protection. The Omani delegation got acquainted of KAHRAMAA role in disseminating the culture, techniques, regulations and legislations of electricity and water conservation as well as initiatives to make use of the renewable energy.
The delegation was reviewed on the role of the National Program for conservation and energy Efficiency "Tarsheed" in creating awareness and social responsibility among all society members through preserving the natural resources and the continuously efforts to deeply root environmental sustainability to achieve Qatar National Vision 2030.
It is worth mentioning that this visit has been coordinated with the Program of "A Flower Each Spring" where the delegation had an opportunity to meet the Qatari experts in this field and facilitated their roles to acquire as much of environmental knowledge during their presence in the state.
