Oman- Expatriate dies in freak accident

An Indian expat was killed following a freak accident in Muttrah on Tuesday afternoon. Nilamparabuveetil Kabir Mammadkoya (36) was carrying a gas cylinder to his house when he fell and hit his head on it.

A profusely bleeding Mammadkoya died on way to the hospital his friends told Muscat Daily. Mammadkoya worked for a relative's company in Muttrah Souq. Several shops in the souq closed for the day after the news as a mark of respect. The process to airlift the body has begun.
