Oman- Ahlibank supports CBFS Open Day

Ahlibank recently supported the College of Banking and Financial Studies (CBFS) Open Day as a silver sponsor.

Commenting on the bank's sponsorship of the event Lloyd Maddock CEO Ahlibank said 'CBFS's Open Day provided us with the opportunity to engage with today's youth and show them the scope of career and professional growth opportunities within the banking sector.

'We feel it is our responsibility to promote young talent and extend all possible support to the educational sector and other youth-oriented activities.'

He added 'CBFS is committed to producing graduates that will provide quality services in the banking and finance sector that will in turn drive the developmental initiatives of the nation. This aligns perfectly with our goal of nurturing and supporting ambitious Omanis through training and professional development to create a talent pool of young bankers.'

The Open Day at CBFS had various activities that included academic social and art and Ahlibank hosted a special stall at the event showcasing the bank's products and services.

Said al Hamdani DGM head of human resources at Ahlibank said 'Ahlibank has since inception been committed to the growth of education and development in Oman.

'The bank enjoys an excellent rapport with Oman's premier educational institutions and takes special interest in hiring graduates from reputed colleges in the country. Selected candidates embark upon an extensive and rigorous training programme which provides experience across all operations of the bank for a period of one year.'
