Corero Network Security PLC lands US700000 order

(MENAFN- ProactiveInvestors - N.America) Corero Network Security PLC (LON:CNS) the AIM-listed cyber security company said it has landed a US$700000 order its largest in the fast-growing cloud-hosting sector.

Corero said the American customer for its SmartWall Threat Defense System is one of the world's largest hosting firms.

This latest deal follows on from a series of similar contract wins from large multinationals revealing there is significant demand for the product which wards off denial of service attacks (DDoS) in real time.

The growing number orders also provides third-party validation of the technology which has undergone rigorous testing with a number of prospective clients.

"There is growing demand in the hosting provider market for DDoS protection and Corero has secured another important win with a flagship customer' said Corero chief executive Ashley Stephenson.

'SmartWall TDS continues to prove its market leadership capabilities."
