U.S. crude's May contract settles lower

Crude oil prices were mixed overnight with U.S. oil lower while Brent was higher.

West Texas Intermediate for May delivery settled down 0.2% to US$41.45 a barrel.

Across the pond Brent crude futures were up 0.7% to US $41.80 a barrel.
