Alexander Nubia International Inc welcomes veteran explorer to team


(MENAFN- ProactiveInvestors - N.America) Veteran explorer Leonard Karr has been appointed as senior geologist Alexander Nubia International (CVE:AAN) told investors.

He will be coming to the group's flagship Hamama project in Egypt to work alongside exploration manager Rick Cavaney.

"He joins the team which includes two other experienced geologists Jim Yates and Marcellin Rakotondraibe. Mr. Karr has over 30 years of experience of working as an exploration geologist having worked in North America South America and Asia" the mining junior said.

The firm's president and chief executive Mark Campbell said: "We are very pleased and fortunate in having Leonard join our team.

"Leonard's many years of experience in working in a wide range of geologic and metallogenic environments will be a great asset to our very talented exploration team.

"The timing is great as we embark on our resource drilling program at Hamama with the goal of issuing our maiden NI 43-101-compliant resource estimate on the completion of the program.

"Leonard will also be involved in our exciting high-impact exploration drilling program on our Fatiri concession at Abu Zawal set to start in June."

Earlier this month the group said it was due to start re-drilling at its flagship Hamama project on or before March 25 after the work had been expected to start in February.

The work will be concentrated on the Hamama West area on the Gold-Oxide Cap where previous drilling hit mineralization

Mark Campbell chief executive has told investors: 'We are ramping up our exploration program in Egypt drilling the Hamama oxide and primary sulphides.'

The company is aiming to drill to a depth of 150 metres and has recently met with the Egyptian Mineral Research Authority (EMRA) to develop Hamama West and additional targets.
