Foreign trade surplus grows by 3 percent in Qatar


(MENAFN) Qatar's foreign trade surplus reached USD 2.02bn in Feb this year, viewing an increase of 3 percent or USD 0.054bn compared to Jan same year.

However, the year on year drop in whole exports was because of lower exports of petroleum gases and other gaseous hydrocarbons.

Moreover, the whole exports of goods; involving exports of goods of local origin and re-exports valued USD 4.65bn in Feb the cited year.

On the other hand, the imports of goods in Feb 2016 amounted to USD 2.63bn, an increase of 3.5 percent over Feb last year.
