Qatar- Jordan Turkey Discuss Relations Region


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Amman March 27 (QNA) - Jordanian Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour and Turkish Counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu on Sunday held a talks session on bilateral relations and means to promote them in addition to regional situation and counter terrorism efforts.
During the session Ensour said that Jordan attaches great importance to strengthen its political and economic relations with Turkey.
He added that the region is going through unprecedented challenges which requires the competent organs of the two countries to increase their cooperation with the international community's efforts to confront the dangers of terrorism and extremism.
For his part Turkish Prime Minister stressed the importance of exchanging visits between officials of both countries stressing that the strengthening of relations with Jordan will always be among his priorities.
Turkey and Jordan have common challenges posed by geography making it imperative for them to increase cooperation and coordination Davutoglu said praising the free trade agreement between the two countries which has contributed to double the volume of trade exchange between them to reach about one billion dollars.
