Jordanian Prime Minister Meets with UN Chief

Amman Jumada II 18 1437 Mar 27 2016 SPA -- Jordanian Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour met here today with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
The UN chief appreciated the massive burden Jordan shoulders as a result of hosting Syrian refugees. He also said that it is important to find a just and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue.
Ensour reviewed challenges facing Jordan arising from the refugee problem in light of the shortage in aid provided by the international community.
The Syrian refugee crisis is not just a crisis of refuge but a challenge with social and security implications as it poses tremendous strains on Jordan's national structure said the premier.
