Egypt condemns suicide bombing targeting a football stadium in Iraq

CAIRO 27th March 2016 (WAM) -- Egypt has condemned a suicide attack that targeted a crowd at a soccer game near Baghdad killing a number of innocent people.

A Spokesman of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry has said that Egypt condemns all forms of terrorist activities targeting Iraq's unity and its territorial integrity referring to the Egyptian's government and people supportive stance for Iraq in the face of brutal terrorism which targets the safety and security of the Iraqi people.

The terrorist organisation Daesh has claimed responsibility for the attack on the football field where supporters officials and security personnel were gathered after the game.
