Lulu Group plans expansion in Qatar

Doha: Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani received at his office in Doha Yusuff Ali MA Chairman of Lulu Group International.

The Prime Minister was briefed by Yusuff Ali about his company’s expansion plan in Qatar. Lulu Group which operates Lulu hypermarkets in the GCC region is a leading retailer in Qatar and already operates four hypermarkets one department store an express supermarket & and a shopping mall.

Yusuf Ali expressed his gratitude for the support provided by Qatar’s wise leadership to develop the business sector which is one of the vital sectors in the country and hailed Qatar’s leadership and the people in supporting the economic sector and for continuous growth of investments in Qatar. The Prime Minister praised Yusuff Ali for his efforts and contributions towards building economic growth of the country.

The Lulu Group chairman said he strongly believe in the noble values for which everybody in Qatar is well-known that gives us the assurance and reiterated his commitment to reciprocate to Qatar’s generosity in view of the advantages and facilities offered to the business sector and praised the good atmospheres enjoyed by the business community over the decades.
