Wall Street shares seen lower ahead of bell


(MENAFN- ProactiveInvestors)Wall Street shares are seen opening sharply lower on Thursday as global stocks ease back and commodity prices drop. US shares were weaker yesterday with the benchmark Dow Jones Industrial finishing 79 down at 17502 and the Nasdaq shedding 52 at 4768. The broader based S&P500 finished 13 lower at 2036. In futures trading today ahead of the Easter weekend the Dow is down 84 points the Nasdaq is 26 points off while the S&P500 is 11.25 down. Us crude is down 2.36% at the time of writing at US$38.84 a barrel while gold is down 0.41% at US$1220 an ounce. It comes after a weak session too in Asia overnight - with the Nikkei 225 down 108 at 16892 and the Shanghai Composite Index down 48 at 2960. FTSE100 in London at the time of writing is down  83 at 6115. There is not that much ahead on the data front though there are weekly jobless claims.
