(MENAFN) Toyota has proudly uncovered the Prius Prime, a plug-in hybrid version of the Prius, with quad-LED headlights, and fancy new taillight design unique to the all-new car.
In particular, the vehicle has an 8.8kWh battery that Toyota says can charge from a standard household outlet in 5.5 hours, or half that from a 240V clothes-dryer style plug.
The Prime has many enhanced features over the regular Prius, like the much-improved ride and handling and the 11.6-inch center media screen along with a full suite of active safety tech.
The world's number one automaker claims that the Prime will deliver a total driving range of more than 600 miles when its 11.3 gallon tank is full, alongside a fully charged battery.
