Tokyo Stocks End Slightly Lower

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Tokyo stocks ended slightly lower after choppy trading Wednesday as the terror attacks in Brussels the previous day weighed on risk appetite, although a weaker yen underpinned investor sentiment.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average ended down 47.57 points, or 0.28 %, from Tuesday at 17,000.98. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange finished 5.73 points, or 0.42 %, lower at 1,364.20.
