Qatar- Quality Retail Group begins Filipino food carnival

(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Philippine Ambassador Wifredo Santos and Shamsudheen Olakara Chairman Quality Group International inaugurate ‘PistangPinoy’ at Quality Mall in Al Hilal.

Doha: Quality Retail Group part of Quality Group International has launched ‘PistangPinoy’ a carnival of Filipino food and food products.

Philippine Ambassador Wifredo Santos and Shamsudheen Olakara Chairman Quality Group International inaugurated the festival at Quality Mall in Al Hilal.

Top Filipino community leaders journalists working in Qatar and members of the community attended the opening of the event which runs until April 2.

Quality Group launched the festival to support the ambassador’s flagship project ‘Kulinarya’.

“The 10-day festival highlighting the best choice of Filipino food to be available on our store’s shelf is our company’s commitment and initiative to support Kulinarya” Olakara said.

“Quality Group is one of the largest companies in Qatar that provide jobs and support to hundreds of our citizens.

“Today they have organised a festival of food irrespective of geographical features and culture” Santos told the media.

As part of the culinary celebration exclusive and attractive promotions are being held in all Quality retail outlets in Qatar.The Peninsula
