Bombardier's struggle seems far from over

MENAFN) Bombardier Inc., the suffering Canadian multinational aerospace and transportation company, will most likely receive an aid up to USD1 billion from the Canadian government, according to the latest reports.

The federal government has already spent USD1 billion over last year in the company's billions of dollars over budget and years late CSeries passenger jet, therefore it's under huge pressure from the province of Quebec.

According to two party sources, who assured the government would back Bombardier, Quebec's 40-strong Liberal caucus has privately told the office of Prime Minister that it is crucially vital the aerospace division be protected.

"If the federal government is considering a USD1 billion bailout to address 2,830 Canadian job losses at Bombardier, what about the tens of thousands of job losses in Canada's energy sector?," stated a top politician.
