Iran sets plans for oil outcome to hit 4.7m bpd by 2019

(MENAFN) Iran is working hard and devoting all available resources to get back its lost share in international oil market, thus its efforts suggest oil production will climb to 4.7 million barrels per day over the next few years.

The Islamic Republic has started by giving guarantees to its old and new customers that it will meet their needs amid the post-sanctions era; therefore the only logical action to fulfill these assurances is to raise production.

However, the oil/gas rich nation realizes the consequences of rushing things, hence it's taking well-studied baby steps to reach its goals, thus if oil export grows to 2-2.2 million bpd by 2017, then it's on the right track.

Furthermore, the Persian Gulf Republic has the 2nd largest proved gas reserves in the world after Russia, with 33.6 trillion cubic metres and the 3rd largest natural gas production in the world after Indonesia, and Russia.
