Morocco- Moroccan National Killed in Brussels Attacks


(MENAFN- Morocco World News) A Moroccan national was killed and four others were injured including two seriously in the terrorist attacks that struck Brussels on Tuesday Moroccan diplomatic sources in Brussels said.

The woman was killed in the explosion that struck at the Maelbeek Metro Station while the four other Moroccans were injured in the blast which took place at the Brussels Airport.

According to the diplomatic sources this is a provisional tool and screech operations are still underway to see if there are other Moroccan victims.

Morocco’s Embassy and Consulate General in Brussels have set up a crisis unit to monitor the situation and inform of the existence of Moroccan nationals among the victims of the attacks.

At least 34 people were killed and nearly 200 injured in two blasts at Brussels airport and a third at the Maelbeek Metro Station.
