Metro Tech Hosts the 28th Annual Job Fair

Metro Tech is  with a number of different booths set up on April 20th 2016 from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Some of the different jobs at this fair include administrative assistant aircraft mechanics auto service building maintenance child care construction electrical engineering finance/banking food services graphic communications health HVAC information technology sales representatives security officer welding and many more.

There are a number of different reasons for students to check out Metro Tech’s job fair including the fact that doing so can help with networking and interviewing skills. Students who attend this fair will have the opportunity to speak with professionals from a wide range of fields so they can get a better idea as to which sort of job is right for them.

Students that are unsure about what kind of future career they want will find this fair to be extremely helpful and informative. With lots of different types of businesses set up at this fair students will be able to get a much better idea as to which one they might be interested in pursuing.

Businesses that attend Metro Tech’s job fair will be afforded the opportunity to meet with potential talent for the future from students who attend. This job fair will provide employers with many candidates in one environment making it easier than ever to find good reliable future employees.

These fairs can also help businesses increase their brand awareness getting the word out about the services they have to offer. While many of the people who attend the job fair are students who have not yet graduated businesses can still speak with them to get a better idea as to whether or not they would be an asset to them.

Students who attend Metro Tech’s job fair will be able to explore the booths that are set up by employers of many different types of businesses giving them a myriad of options to choose from. Metro Technology Centers is a career and technology center with four campuses. The school was established in 1979 by a vote of the people to serve Oklahoma City in providing career and technology education (CTE). Metro Tech provides full-time career majors for high school and adult students. High school students receive credit toward high school graduation. Both student groups can earn trade certifications and/or licenses.
