Pakistan's broadband subscriptions approaches new milestone


(MENAFN) Pakistan has been substantially immersing itself in technology and everything that falls under it, as people and business alike become more integrated with the tech revolution.

In accordance, the broadband fever doesn't seem to be simmering down as the number of subscriptions throughout the Islamic Republic touched almost the milestone total of 30 million.

This comes after cellular service providers have sold nearly one and a half million high-speed mobile internet connections in Feb-2016, based on Pakistan Telecommunication Authority's data.

Additionally, the total of broadband connections in the nation amplified to 29.3 million at the end of last month, increasing 5.25 percent compared to 27.85 million in the earlier month.
