(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah March 21 (Petra) -- Violent confrontations erupted Monday morning between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian citizens from Al-Eyzaried town east of Jerusalem resulted in the injury of number of locals by the troops live bullets.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said in a statement that Israeli occupation forces broke into the town Monday dawn and raided a number of Palestinian-owned houses including the house of Palestinian official in Charge of the Detainees File Ayman Al-Basah as well as the house of his mother.
Al-Basah was forced to set outside in the cold for a long time without clothes as the soldiers were searching and vandalizing his house the statement said.
A number of Palestinian youths were injured by Israeli live bullets it added.
