Bahrain condemns El Arish terrorist attack

MANAMA 20th March 2016 (WAM) -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain has condemned the terrorist assault which targeted a security ambush in El-Arish in North Sinai in Egypt and resulted in killing and wounding scores of policemen.

According to Bahrain News Agency BNA the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates the support of the Kingdom of Bahrain for the Arab Republic of Egypt in facing violence terrorism and extremism and expresses solidarity with Egyptian government in taking any decisive actions and deterrents necessary to restore security and stability in the country and achieve the aspirations of the Egyptian people in development and prosperity.

The Bahraini Foreign Ministry also expressed sincere condolences and sympathies to the families and relatives of the martyrs and wishes a speedy recovery to all the injured in this treacherous terrorist act.

The Foreign Ministry renewed the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain in condemning and rejecting terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and calls for consolidating international efforts to root out the scourge of terrorism.
