Oman- Wadi Dayqah Dam reservoir full

The Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources (MRMWR) is releasing water from Wadi Dayqah Dam in Quriyat after it reached its retaining capacity of 100mn m3 during the recent rain.

Water is being released in phases to ensure that there is no flooding in the nearby areas an official from MRMWR said.

Hundreds of people visited the dam on Friday and Saturday to enjoy the pleasant weather
