UAE- Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs visits Ethiopia

ADDIS ABABA 20th March 2016 (WAM) -- Dr. Mohammed Mattar Salem Al Kaabi Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments has visited the Republic of Ethiopia.

Dr. Al Kaabi headed a high-level delegation from the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments representatives of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation and Holy Quran Radio Channel Abu Dhabi.

During his visit to the headquarters of the Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council Mr. Al Kaabi reviewed prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the field of Islamic Affairs and Endowments.

He also visited the mosques of "Al-Nour" and "Al-Salam" in the capital Addis Ababa which were built more than 12 years ago at the expense of the Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation.
