Tunisia forces kill two militants in Ben Guerdane

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) TUNIS March 19 (KUNA) -- Tunisian Security and military forces have managed to kill two militants after clashes near the city of Ben Guerdane on the border with the lawless neighbor Libya.In a press statement aired by the Tunis Africa Press (TAP) the militants were killed after a joint security and military raid on a house where they holed up.It added that three civilians and a security officer were wounded in the clashes and admitted to the hospital.The clashes came after less than two weeks from foiling broad coordinated militant attacks on Tunisian army and police barracks in the city of Ben Guerdane which left 49 militants 12 police and military personnel and seven civilians dead.
