US Prohibits Hoverboard Imports
(MENAFN) The US International Trade Commission issued an order banning virtually all imports of the notorious hoverboards into the United States, based on recent reports.
Accordingly, the main reason for the ban involves the Ninebot Inc. owned Segway's patent claims on self-balancing personal transport technology in the United States.
Moreover, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission has also warned about Hoverboard imports because the product has a tendency to overheat and cause massive fires.
