Kuwait oil price up 73 cents to US 32.35 pb


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT March 17 (WAM) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil went up on Wednesday 73 cents to settle at USD 32.35 per barrel (pb) compared to USD 31.62 pb the day before said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Thursday morning.In world market oil prices went up following the announcement of a meeting gathering the biggest oil producing countries next month to discuss halting production besides issuing data indicating an increase below expectations in the US oil reserves.Brent crude went up US 1.59 to close at US 40.33 a barrel as well as the US crude oil going up USD 2.12 cents to settle at US 38.46 a barrel.
