UAE- Shaikha Jawaher visits Sharjah Ladies Club in Al Dhaid

Her Highness Shaikha Jawaher bint Mohammad Al Qasimi Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs visited the Sharjah Ladies Club in Al Dhaid.

Shaikha Jawaher's visit came in line with her eagerness to follow the progress of work at the club and to maintain contact with its administration and members. She also met a number of directors from government entities and encouraged them to invest in young people.

In an address to the club's staff Shaikha Jawaher highlighted the need to realise the full potential of young women direct them to the right path and guide them in their professional and personal development. She reiterated that it was vital to create and nurture a well-educated generation capable of shaping a bright future for the country. She also thanked the staff for their tireless efforts in working for women in Sharjah.

"I extend my profound thanks to every one of the team members at Al Dhaid Ladies Club for providing such vital services for women and children and I hope that the club will continue to have a positive influence for its members. Today's society more than ever needs your efforts your ideas and your ambitions. Your contribution is invaluable for the development of the Sharjah community and for the UAE nation as a whole" said Shaikha Jawaher.

During her visit Shaikha Jawaher toured Sharjah Ladies Club's new facilities including its Tala Nursery where she met with children and praised the nursery's efforts in developing the skills and abilities of toddlers. She also visited the new Jory Beauty Salon and expressed her admiration for the services provided to ladies and girls stressing the need to abide by health and safety rules.

Shaikha Jawaher commented that she was very impressed with the high quality of services at the club's facilities and stated her pride in the new generation of talented young ladies who work devotedly to provide an environment that helps enhance women's potential capital. "One's love of her nation is reflected through the serving of her society" she said.

Shaikha Jawaher met a number of directors of government organisations in Al Dhaid urging them to direct young women to lead away from extraneous traditions to UAE society and to refrain from extremism as Islam teaches. She highlighted women's vital role in raising present and future generations with the skills needed to develop the nation's institutions and provide services for all members of society.

Shaikha Jawaher said: "Women should care for their children by raising them in a healthy environment and inculcating within them good moral qualities. No nation can make progress if their children are not properly brought up. An important aspect of this is teaching - we must ensure that our children receive the best education at schools and universities."

"Children are a treasure and they deserve our special attention. In a caring and nurturing environment childrenwill receive the focused attention they deserve thus developing their personalities and equipping them with the education and knowledge and that will lead them to better serve their society"she added.

"His Highness Dr.Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah has always been keen to care for Emirati citizens by providing them with the necessary requirements that enable them to succeed in life and be in a position to give back to this good land" she continued.

Shaikha Jawaher wished the Sharjah Ladies Club staff all the best for their work in advancing their society and country. She thanked the branch administration for their immense efforts in developing Sharjah Ladies Club branches in other UAE cities and requested that the same high level of service she had witnessed during her tour be applied in these new establishments.
