Kuwait- PAAET director addresses graduating class


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT March 16 (KUNA) -- At the graduation ceremony on the campus of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) its Director-General Dr. Ahmad Al-Athari said PAAET has progressed well since its inception more than 33 years ago.He told a gathering of students and government officials as well as His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah that PAAET has spared no efforts to expand the size of its campus to eventually take in no less than 80000 students.He said the institution he heads has concluded numerous educational agreements and protocols among them one with the Paris Academy in France and another with the National Guard in Kuwait.PAAET he added has signed a memorandum of understanding with Enertech Group which is a leading manufacturer of high technology energy to build a "technology park" for alternative energy research.Moreover PAAET has signed an agreement with International Youth Foundation to prepare about 5000 students annually to enter the job market in Kuwait he said.He further said PAAET was preparing to hold an international conference next November regarding the apt use of technology in daily life.He wished this year's graduating class a prosperous carrier ahead and much success in applying what they learned in PAAET to real life situations.
