Jordan condemns terrorist bombings in Nigeria


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman March 16 (Petra)--Jordan has condemned two terrorist bombings that targeted a mosque in north east Nigerian on Wednesday killing 22 worshippers and injuring 17 others.

State Minister for Media Affairs and the Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani stressed Jordan's condemnation of the two terrorist attacks that claimed the lives of innocent people.

Momami also voiced Jordan's rejection and condemnation of terrorism in all its shapes and forms that target peace security and stability no matter what their source and motives are.

He also stressed Jordan's constant stance in combatting terrorism and urged all countries of the world to cooperate in fighting terrorism.

The minister also voiced the Jordanian government's condolences to the Nigerian government and the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
