Israeli authorities demolish Palestinian owned house in Bethlehem


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah March 16 (Petra) -- Israeli forces early Wednesday demolished a Palestinian owned house in Al-Shurfah neighborhood west of the occupied city of Bethlehem.

Bethlehem area Coordinator for the National Committee Against the Wall and Settlements Hassan Briggah said that a large force of Israeli soldiers backed by military bulldozers stormed the neighborhood and demolished the house under the pretext it was built without permit.

Further to the south in Wadi Rahhal Israeli forces tore down an agricultural shack belonging to local resident Amir Hussein al-Kamil local sources said.

Wadi Rahal Council member Amar Hijazi confirmed that Israeli bulldozers tore down an agricultural shack saying it lacks building permit.

Recently Israeli forces has stepped up its arbitrary measures against the village where it demolished other six agricultural structures in different parts of the area he added.
