(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index dropped 117.74 points or -1.14% when the bourse closed trading at 10,199.91 points Tuesday.
The daily turnover today jumped to QR 456.80 Million with a volume of 16,770,441 shares from 6,691 deals compared to QR 278,42 Million with a volume of 9,904,581 shares from 4,626 deals on Monday.
From the 43 companies listed on QSE, shares of 37 saw trading today. From these 12 gained, 21 closed lower and four remained unchanged. Barring consumer goods and services index which gained +0.40%, indices of all other sectors ended in the red today.
QSE Total Return Index dropped -0.92% to 16,262.53 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index dropped -0.56% to 3,830.73 points and QSE All Share Index dropped -0.83% to 2,771.71 points.
