Uber faces fierce disapproval in Colombia


(MENAFN) Taxi drivers have taken take part in a massive protest against the transportation network company, Uber, in Bogota, capital of Colombia, based on the latest reports.

In accordance, the dispute came as a natural response to Uber's service hampering and obstructing their daily work, like many drivers in other nations did before.

The American multinational firm has expected such protests, and thus applying the appropriate measures accordingly, as it ambitiously pursues to gain worldwide recognition.

Uber develops, markets and operates the Uber app, which allows consumers with mobiles to submit a trip request which is then routed to Uber drivers who use their own cars.
