(MENAFN- Arab Times) Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group welcomed His Excellency Dr Khalid bin Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the Executive Director of the Isa Cultural Centre, Bahrain at the Al Habtoor Head Offi ce on Al Wasl Road on Thursday, March 10, 2016.
The delegation also included Fawaz Ahmed Suleiman, International Relations Advisor, Isa Cultural Centre. Also present was Ziad Ida, Director Community Relations & Safety, Al Habtoor Group and Abdul Salam Marzooqi, General Manager, Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor Foundation.
The Isa Cultural Center, a national cultural centre affi liated with the Royal court, was established in 2008. It is one of the most prominent cultural institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain which provides a variety of intellectual and cultural services. It is named after the late Amir, HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa. HE Dr Khalid bin Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa invited the chairman to Bahrain to take part in a panel discussion of wellknown intellectuals and politicians from the GCC to discuss regional issues.
Al Habtoor praised the work the Isa Cultural Centre is doing to preserve Arab culture. He said it is important to retain the culture and heritage of the region and show the world how rich the GCC is. "This is incredibly important for the future of our nations and for our children and grandchildren," he said. His Excellency gave Al Habtoor a souvenir and several books from the Isa Cultural Centre.
