Qatar- OIC Condemns Attack in Grand Bassam Cote d'Ivoire

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Jeddah March 14 (QNA) - Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the attack on a resort in Cote d’Ivoire's town Grand-Bassam which left 14 civilians and two special forces servicemen killed.
In a statement today OIC Secretary General Iyad Ameen Madani expressed dismay at the horrendous attack claimed by Al-Qaeda in North Africa and targeted innocent unarmed civilians.
The statement reiterated OIC's support for Cote d'Ivoire in all measures it takes to face such criminal acts which aim to shake its security and stability stressing the need for joint efforts to eradicate this phenomenon. (QNA)
