Georgia, Iran engage in vital joint schemes

(MENAFN) Iran and neighboring Georgia are ready to be involved in regional developments and discuss joint energy and transportation projects.

Encouraging mutual ventures, Iranian officials hailed the North-South corridor as a serious project that entails closer cooperation in the field of energy.

The top scheme now is the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC), which is a multipurpose route for the transit of goods between many nations.

Basically, Iran and Georgia have ramped up efforts in recent months to revive bilateral relations, particularly after coming into force of the JCPOA in January.
