John Mahoney finally reveals details of his latest graphic novel project to the world.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD Los Angeles California - March 14 2016 - John Mahoney is a Visual Development Artist professor sculpture and now a graphic novel writer/illustrator. Inspired by a near death experience John has turned his life around with this passion project – "Zentropa." The 108-page hardcover graphic novel is finally finished. Mahoney launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise capital to release the highly anticipated book to the public.
This is a new Sci-Fi epic that pays homage to the classic old Heavy Metal Magazine comic strips. The story offers a psychedelic mind-expanding stream of consciousness for the reader. Viewers are encouraged to participate in the bizarre storytelling as two space explorers try to figure out what's happening to their planet as odd organic growths begin to appear everywhere. They aren't sure if it's an invasion from another planet or is it coming from their own planet! Join Mahoney on an epic journey filled with unexpected twists and turns.

Once the campaign ends Mahoney will create a website so that people from different parts of the world can share their personal story of what they think "Zentropa” means.

About John Mahoney:
John worked as a Visual Development Artist on ten Disney films. Recently he worked as a sculptor for Hasbro Toys on Jurrasic World Avengers and Frozen. He has taught creative classes on many subjects in several parts of the world including Lucasfilm Singapore Blizzard Entertainment and Stan Winston's School of Character Arts. He currently teaches several classes at CalArts and USC. Along with the professional work he is involved with he has spent every bit of his spare time on this dream project.
