Qatar- Merkel's CDU Rules Out Changes to Refugee Policy
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Berlin March 14 (QNA) - Chancellor Angela Merkel's conservative Christian Democrats (CDU) rule out any changes to the German leader's refugee policy."I do not see that" says CDU general secretary Peter Tauber after elections which resulted in a surge in support for the anti-immigrant Alternative for Germany.
Merkel's conservative CDU party suffered losses in two out of three state elections.The local parliamentary elections held on Sunday in the states of Baden-Wurttemberg Rhineland-Palatinate and Saxony-Anhalt. (QNA)
