Kuwait examines S. Korea smart cities

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) SEOUL March 14 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Minister of State for Housing Affairs Yasser Abul arrived here on Monday starting a five-day official visit during which he would hold talks with senior officials.In an arrival statement the minister said he would examine during the visit the local experience in establishing and managing smart cities designed for optimum energy rationing.Minister Abul added that his discussions with the South Korean officials would also address cooperation in the housing sector.His delegation includes representatives of the Public Authority for Housing Welfare the Supreme Planning Council the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development and the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority.The Kuwaiti housing ministry signed a memo for expertise swap with the Korean infrastructural ministry in September 2014.
