UAE- Man dies of drug overdose friends charged

The Dubai Public Prosecution charged three Arabs allegedly for consuming drugs after they took a friend of them who died of drug overdose to hospital.

According to police sources the operations room received information at 11.45pm that a man was brought to the hospital and he died due to drug overdose.

The police investigation showed that the man was brought by three suspects S.H. .M.A. and A.T. to the hospital. Officials came to know that they fled the hospital.

The police identified the first suspect who drove the Emirati vicitim A.R. in his car and arrested him. The second suspect was nabbed from his residence in Al Qusais area and the third suspect from his house in the Mirdiff area. All of them confessed to using drugs and told the police that the victim had a history of drug over use. On the day of the incident he fell unconscious after taking drug. They were scared and escaped after taking him to the hospital the suspects told the police. The three have been charged with drug use.
