Spain reports 0.8pct dip in consumer prices over Feb


(MENAFN) Spain's consumer prices have declined by 0.8 percent in February as opposed to 2015's corresponding month, based on the latest data.

Prices of transport fell by 4.7pct in Feb y-o-y, while prices of food and non-alcoholic drinks related to communications rose by 1.3pct and 2.7pct respectively.

Prices of items related to housing dropped by 1.6pct, those of clothing and shoes dipped by 1.6pct and those of transport plunged by 0.7pct from Jan to Feb.

Meanwhile, prices of items related to communications hiked by 1.5pct, those related to hotels rose by 0.4pct and those related to leisure rose by 0.5pct.
