(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Tehran March 12 (QNA) - Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in Wellington on Saturday on the fifth leg of his tour to Asia Pacific countries.
After paying visits to Indonesia Singapore Brunei and Thailand Zarif arrived in New Zealand early Saturday to meet with the country’s prime minister foreign minister a number of other ministers and senior officials to discuss the development of relations particularly in trade and economic sectors Iran's Mehr News Agency (MNA)reported.
Zarif will also meet Iranian nationals private businessmen of New Zealand and deliver a speech at a conference organized by New Zealand Institute of International Affairs.
New Zealand lifted its sanctions against Iran on February 19 following the implementation of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) Iran’s nuclear agreement with 5+1 group of countries. (QNA)
