(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman March 13 (Petra) -- Warm conditions are expected to prevail Sunday across the country with clouds at high altitudes and southwesterly moderate to brisk winds.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) gusty conditions are forecast at night mainly in the southern and eastern regions with scattered showers in different parts of the Kingdom.
The Kingdom will be affected by a cold wet air mass Monday and Tuesday bringing tangible drop in temperatures and creating relatively cold and partly cloudy condition across the country. Rain is expected over different parts of the country accompanied with thunder and lightening.
Winds will be westerly brisk with strong gusts blowing dust mainly in the southern and eastern parts of the Kingdom with fog formation over the highlands the JMD added.
Temperatures in the capital for today will reach a high of 25 degrees Celsius dropping down to 15 degrees at night while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 27 degrees plunging to 20 degrees at night.
