Qatar- Blair pips Jaffar to win at Sealine

DOHA: British rider Ryan Blair reigned supreme in the second round of Qatar International Enduro Cross 2016-2017 season after winning both the races in E1 category at Sealine on Friday.

It was a tough race yesterday for the Briton with last round winner Mohammad Jaffar of Kuwait giving him a tough competition. It was a sea-saw battle between the two rivals but in the end Blair managed to overcome his opponent.

“The track was really good” the British rider said after his win. “They (organisers) made it more technical than usual. But it was a good race for me though I made mistakes. I am happy I still ended up winning both the races.”

British rider Ryan Blair and South African Wade Den together with Mansoor Al - Suwaidi from UAE are the Winners of the second round of Qatar International Enduro Cross 2016-2017 Season.

Meanwhile South African rider Wade Den remained unbeaten in E2 category as he continued his winning streak from the last round. Den won both the races in his category at the Qatar International Endurocross.

In the Quad Category Emirati rider Mansoor Al-Suwaidi dominated winning both the races while his nemesis Fahad Musallam finishes runner-up on both occasions.

In the over 40 year old category it was Shannon O’Cannor who bagged the first Race while Geoff Den claimed victory in the second race.

It may be recalled that Jaffar claimed both the races at the 5km track at Golden Beach Sealine for the opening round of the QMMF Qatar International Endurocross 2016-2017 Season.

South African Den shone in E2 category winning both races in the opening round while Musallam and Al Suwaidi shared victory in Quad Category in the opening round.
