Morocco- The Mohammadia School of Engineering the Fourth EMI Olympic Games


(MENAFN- Morocco World News) The Mohammadia School of Engineering (EMI) will organize the EMI Olympic Games (EOG) from March 11 to 13 in coordination with EmiSport.

Based in Rabat the Mohammadia School of Engineering was founded in 1959 by the King Mohammed V as Morocco’s firstpolytechnic school. It is the largest institution of higher education in technology and one of the leading technical schools inMorocco.

The EMI Olympic games is an annual event that started in April 2013 under the supervision of the members of the EmiSport club.

This cultural event aims to unite all engineering schools across Morocco and create an outlet space for students by challenging them through many competitions from football to basketball to volleyball as well racing and many more activities.

On Friday March 11 before diving directly the tournaments EmiSport organized a Paralympic games day in collaboration with the EmiKhayr club with the presence of dozens of associations and over 150 participants.

The opening ceremony will officially take place on Saturday March 12 at 10:30 am with the presence of Moroccan champions. The Ultras will start by launching Emi's Tifo los commandos for a little warm up in order to create a good atmosphere for the upcoming competitions.

The tournaments will start directly after with 16 sports on the program for inter-school competitions and many other activities are open to the public.

In collaboration with the art club EmiArts the EMI Olympic Show will start at 7:00 pm with the presence of the artist Mukhtar Ouardi and the comedian Khalid Jawaj as well as DJ MKS.

On Sunday March 13 the tournaments for the second day will end by giving prizes to the winning champions at the closing ceremony in the evening.
