(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Amman March 10 (QNA) - King Abdullah II of Jordan met Thursday with US Vice President Joe Biden who is on a two-day visit to Jordan.
Petra news reported that the meeting focused on the strategic relations between the two countries. The King and the US official also discussed regional and international counterterrorism efforts.
Furthermore they discussed efforts to reach a two-state peace solutions between Israelis and Palestinians. The king stressed the importance of Israel's ending the violations against Al Quds.
He also highlighted the Jordanian government's full backing to the efforts of Iraq in ending the threat of ISIS. (QNA)
