Oman power demand rises at 8 percent
(MENAFN) Elect produced in Oman reached 14 gigawatts per hour last year, while the need for power in the Sultanate continued to increase at 8 percent per annum.
Accordingly, last year Oman have produced 14 gigawatts per hour while the elect supplied was almost 7,850 megawatts.
Additionally, it was offered many orders such as raising the efficiency of staff of private sector firms operating in the elect sector.
The elect sector has a notable importance in the national economy as it contributes to the GDP, which provides direct employment chances.
