Hillary Clinton projected to win Mississippi


(MENAFN) Hillary Clinton, the democratic presidential candidate has just achieved another win in Mississippi, a crucial primary state, based on reports.

Soon after polls closed in the southern state on Tuesday night, many networks projected that the former secretary of state would win the state's primary.

Clinton likely secured the bulk of Mississippi's 36 delegates, rendering her even closer to winning the 2,383 delegates needed to lock the Democratic nomination.

Furthermore, she has easily conquered opposing Bernie Sanders in all of the Southern contests so far, including Texas, Louisiana, South Carolina, and Georgia.
