Switzerland's joblessness ratio hits 3.7pct In Feb


(MENAFN) Unemployment rate in Switzerland touched 3.7 percent throughout the prior month, representing a 3.8 percent decline recorded in this year's first month.

According to the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, youth unemployment declined by 3.3 percent, with 20,491 young adults looking for a job last month.

The institute reported that with 2,227 fewer people registered as jobless last month, a total of 161,417 individuals were classified as unemployed in the period under review.

Moreover, the sum of jobseekers signed up to work in the nation jumped by 137 people from Jan to February this year, hitting 222,888 people by the end of the past month.
